🔹 Position: Cloud Architect / AI Platform Owner
📍 Location: Brussels, Belgium (1x per week in the office)
AI Stack Standardization: Select and maintain the enterprise AI stack (models, frameworks, orchestrations, vector stores) and define approval processes from POC to production.
Instruction Management: Design and deploy tooling for instruction hierarchy, including versioning, deployment, and monitoring.
Guardrails & Safety: Implement technical guardrails (sandboxing, policy enforcement, AI firewalls) and real-time detection of policy violations.
Developer Experience: Provide self-service capabilities (IDEs, APIs, templates) and "paved road" workflows to enable teams while preventing shadow IT.
Observability & FinOps: Ensure end-to-end visibility of agent behavior and manage cost allocation/optimization for inference and compute.
Governance & Security: Integrate EU AI Act principles (traceability, explainability) and lead secure development policies.
Technical Skills: * Strong experience in Cloud & Platform engineering (Azure/AWS) with an AI focus.
Deep knowledge of LLMs and agentic AI patterns (MCP, A2A, tool-use, planning/execution loops).
Experience with MLOps/Model serving (Azure AI, Bedrock, RAG architectures).
Knowledge of Policy-as-code (e.g., OPA) and AI content safety filtering.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
Experience: * Minimum 10 years of all-round IT experience.
8+ years in cloud platform engineering or enterprise architecture.
3+ years of proven experience with AI/ML in a production context.
Languages: Fluent in English, plus proficiency in Dutch and/or French.
