Financial System Lead – Functional Consultant (Freelance)

Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Functional Consultant with strong financial experience to lead electronic payment system projects. This role, identified as Financial System Lead, works on both CAPEX and O&M, coordinating critical financial processes.
Responsibilities:
Manage deferred revenue accounting and ensure correct system application.
Oversee and optimize financial settlement processes.
Identify, analyze, and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper system implementation.
Serve as the functional lead for Business Central, ensuring alignment between operations and financial accounting.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of recent, demonstrable experience as a financial lead in electronic payment system projects within public transport.
Hands-on experience with Business Central as a Functional Consultant.
CPA or equivalent accounting certification is highly valued.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to work remotely and adapt to distributed teams.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
Experience managing CAPEX and O&M projects.
Knowledge of advanced financial risk management and controls.
