🔹 Position: Oracle DBA
📍 Location: Brussels - Hybrid
Performance Optimization: Apply compression techniques, perform query tuning, and guide developers on efficient SQL coding/indexing.
Infrastructure Management: Optimize resources for ExaCC, ZFS, and ZDLRA backup appliances; fine-tune CPU allocations to minimize waste.
Technical Leadership: Lead migrations (e.g., Kerberos authentication), handle Oracle Client upgrades, and maintain technical documentation (runbooks, architecture diagrams).
Mentoring: Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops to transfer expertise to the team.
Experience: Proven track record as an Oracle DBA with expertise in performance tuning and resource optimization.
Tech Stack: Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills. Familiarity with ExaCC, ZFS, and ZDLRA is a strong advantage.
Security & Upgrades: Knowledge of Kerberos authentication and Oracle Client upgrades.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and mentoring skills; proactive problem-solving mindset focused on cost reduction.
Knowledge of Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, or Azure Synapse to support hybrid or multi-cloud environment insights.
