🔹 Position: Principal Solution Engineer
📍 Location: Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium
The Principal Solution Engineer will be responsible for leading architecture design, requirements management, and systems development activities across complex and large-scale initiatives.
Key duties include: Solution Architecture, Requirements Definition & Management, Systems Development Management and Network Design.
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience;
or
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
Proven experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
Strong knowledge of mobile and deployable communication infrastructure technologies.
Experience in systems design and integration, including:
AC power distribution
Emergency power generation
UPS systems and supporting infrastructure
Solid understanding of wireless technologies, including SATCOM.
Experience with architecture modelling languages (e.g., UML, SysML, ArchiMate) within recognised frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, NAF, DoDAF, Zachman).
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Demonstrated application of quality assurance practices.
Hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of communication systems (development, deployment, testing, maintenance).
Certifications
ITIL Foundation certification.
PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent (e.g., PMP).
Certifications
PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent (e.g., PMP).
TOGAF, ArchiMate, or equivalent certification.
