🔹 Position: Senior UI/UX Designer
📍 Location: Diegem (Brussels area) - Minimum 3 days onsite
Design Execution: Create user flows, low-fidelity wireframes, and high-fidelity mock-ups/prototypes for complex input and visualization screens.
User-Centered Approach: Build designs based on the "voice of the customer," user journeys, and usability findings.
Standardization: Establish and document general UI/UX design principles and guidelines for the department, ensuring alignment with global DHL standards.
Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Backend/Frontend developers to ensure mock-ups increase engineering productivity.
Stakeholder Management: Present and motivate design decisions to various audiences and challenge stakeholders when necessary to protect the user experience.
Tooling: Daily expertise with Figma (our primary tool), Sketch, Axure, or Adobe CC.
Expertise: Extensive experience in designing complex data-heavy components (autocomplete, picklists, tree tables, charts) and responsive layouts.
User Research: Proven experience in user testing, creating personas, and gathering data to inform design decisions.
Technical Understanding: Familiarity with the limitations of frontend frameworks (Angular/React) and a good understanding of HTML/CSS.
Methodology: Experience in creating user stories and working within an Agile environment.
Soft Skills: Analytical mind, conceptual thinker, and a strong ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-functional environment.
Languages: Fluent English (verbal and written); knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
